VP, Business Development
Scott joined Battery in 2015 and focuses on portfolio-company building and industry outreach with Fortune 500/Global 2000 companies. He collaborates with technology executives in order to identify innovation and business requirements that can be addressed by Battery’s portfolio and broader ecosystems. Additionally, Scott coaches early stage start-ups on finding product-market fit and go-to-market strategy. Scott previously performed a similar role at Intel Capital, the investment arm of chip giant Intel Corporation. Scott holds an MS degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of California at Davis and a BS in computer engineering from Iowa State University, where he graduated with distinction.
