Evan joined Battery in 2020 as a director of business development. In this role, he works closely with colleague Scott Goering to build the firm’s business-development practice, through which Battery works closely with developers, technologists and product-management executives across cloud-native and innovative Fortune 500 corporations.

Evan has a diverse background with skillsets in product management, business development, corporate partnerships, marketing, sales and development methodologies. Before joining Battery, he was a manager of strategic partnerships at Contentful, a next-generation, content-management company. Prior to that, he worked in enterprise sales at InVision, which makes a digital product-design platform. There, Evan focused on partner success and business development. Earlier in his career Evan worked in product management at event-software firm Active Network and in engineering and business-development roles at Intel.
