Marketing + Communications
Battery assists its portfolio companies with a range of marketing and communications issues, both strategic and tactical. The group is a resource for early-stage companies just starting to tell their stories and launch their products, as well as more-mature firms that may want to re-position their brands in advance of a liquidity event or restructuring, or receive counsel during a crisis.
Specifically, Battery’s marketing team helps companies evaluate outside PR firms and marketing consultants; serves as a liaison with tech- and financial-industry conference organizers; assists with funding announcements and other news; and offers counsel on content marketing, digital marketing and PR/communications. Another big focus for the group is facilitating networking and best-practices sharing at the dozens of high-profile events Battery organizes each year for portfolio-company executives.
