Scott leads the firm business-development practice. He collaborates with founders and executive teams to unlock opportunities within Battery’s network of corporations, partners and advisors in order to accelerate company growth.

Scott joined Battery in 2015 and leads the firm business-development practice. Scott collaborates with founders and executive teams to unlock opportunities within Battery’s network of corporations, partners and advisors in order to accelerate company growth. Additionally, Scott coaches early-stage start-ups on finding product-market fit and go-to-market strategy.

Scott previously performed a similar role at Intel Capital, the investment arm of chip giant Intel Corporation. He held a number of other roles at Intel, including, most recently, as a director in the company’s “visual cloud” group. Previously, Scott worked at Mentor Graphics.

Scott holds an MS degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of California at Davis and a BS in computer engineering from Iowa State University.
