Scott joined Battery in 2015 and lead’s the firm business development practice. Scott collaborates with a broad range of corporate executives and technologists to navigate the innovation ecosystem and providing curated access to Battery’s portfolio companies. Additionally, Scott coaches early stage start-ups on finding product-market fit and go-to-market strategy.
Scott previously performed a similar role at Intel Capital, the investment arm of chip giant Intel Corporation. He held a number of other roles at Intel Corp., including, most recently, as a director in the company’s “visual cloud” group. Previously, Scott worked at Mentor Graphics.
Scott holds an MS degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of California at Davis and a BS in computer engineering from Iowa State University.
