Ben Passafuime

Ben is a talent partner leading Battery’s executive talent strategy across the growth-equity and majority software portfolios. He works closely with investing and management teams on leadership hiring and overall talent strategy across this portion of the portfolio.

Prior to Battery, Ben spent more than eight years at Alpine Investors, where he most recently served as a vice president. Through his tenure, he oversaw executive portfolio hiring and CEO-in-residence recruiting for the fund. He also contributed to developing leadership programs and enhancing the experience for executives across the firm’s portfolio.

Before joining Alpine, Ben worked in executive search at SPMB and also spent time as an independent search consultant. He focused on senior-level placements for private equity and VC-backed companies across technology and other sectors.

Ben earned a BA in political science from the University of California, Berkeley. He is based in Battery’s San Francisco office.
