Shiran focuses on investments in enterprise infrastructure, application software and financial technology. Shiran is currently involved with Battery’s investments in Affirm, BigPanda, CrediFi, Cross River Bank, EDR, Gong.io, GuardiCore, hibob, N26, Sofar Sounds, Soldo and Zeitgold. Previously, he was also involved with Elastifile (acquired by Google) and Insert Mobile (acquired by Pendo).
Prior to Battery, Shiran was an associate in Deutsche Bank’s Israeli investment banking practice. While at Deutsche Bank, Shiran worked with corporate and financial sponsor clients on financing and strategic alternatives, including debt and equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and other strategic alternatives.
Shiran received a BS in bioengineering with honors from the University of California at Los Angeles.
