Mark Garcia

Mark joined Battery in 2025 as a finance partner, where he works closely with Battery’s CFO to manage all aspects of fund accounting and operations.

Before joining Battery, Mark was a senior controller at Summit Partners, where he led financial reporting across multiple fund strategies and strengthened the firm’s internal controls and audit processes. Previously, he served as chief financial officer at Arctaris Impact Investors and earlier in his career held senior finance roles at Thomas H. Lee Partners.

Mark earned an M.S. in professional accounting from the Barney School of Business at the University of Hartford and, before that, a B.A. in Russian studies with a minor in economics from Colgate University.
