ChoiceVendor was created out of Battery’s Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) program. Yan-David Erlich (Yanda) joined Battery as an EIR to work with the investment team to identify a consumer or B2B Internet business opportunity to build a business around. After months of market research alongside the investment team, he founded ChoiceVendor, a software company focused on information transparency for small and medium sized businesses. ChoiceVendor was eventually acquired by LinkedIn.
