Wondering what’s missing from your customer-lifecycle management software stack? Well, software company Gainsight—via Taylor Swift—has a new idea: It’s customer-success software!
Swift’s blockbuster “1989” album was the inspiration for this a cappella version of “Blank Space”, with Brady Bunch-like visuals borrowed from the familiar “Tonight Show” musical format. Gainsight’s version of Swift’s hit shies away from platitudes about young love; instead, company CEO Nick Mehta (in hoodie, with beard) and other corporate executives croon about retaining customers, avoiding churn and upselling ARR. (“Oh my God, who is she? Lots of work, low ASP.”)
You may not get it if you’re not a B2B SaaS company, but it’s a brave effort. The video is a promo for Gainsight’s upcoming Pulse conference in San Francisco May 12-13. You may see incredible things there.
