Megan, who joined Battery in 2022 as a marketing director, creates and leads many PR, social media and content initiatives for the firm. Megan also offers counsel for portfolio companies on branding, communications and media relations.
Before joining Battery, Megan was an associate director at Kivvit, a public affairs firm, where she managed multinational advocacy campaigns and led media launches for startups at varying stages of funding and development. Megan’s work has received multiple industry awards, including recognition on the SABRE Top 40 Global Communications Campaigns list in 2021 for a media-relations campaign to highlight the devastation of the Covid-19 pandemic across the U.S. criminal justice system. Megan also created and executed a multi-award-winning project to raise awareness of the economic and environmental impacts of the U.S./China trade dispute on the North American hardwood industry, which aided the industry’s ultimate inclusion in phase one of the 2020 U.S./China trade deal.
Megan holds a master of public policy (MPP) from the Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy and a dual BA in English literature and in political science from Vanderbilt University. Megan studied abroad at the University College Cork while an undergraduate and has proudly visited every county in Ireland.
