Justin focuses on consumer Internet and software investments.

Justin is a vice president in Battery’s San Francisco office who focuses on consumer internet and software investments. He is currently involved with Battery’s investments in Belong, Epic!, Flyhomes, Modern Health, PlayVS, Scopely and StockX. He also helps spearhead many of Battery’s initiatives related to online-marketplace investments, including co-authoring Battery’s bi-annual State of Marketplaces report and presenting at The Marketplace Conference, a global event co-hosted by Battery. Justin writes frequently about consumer trends and market dynamics, including in publications such as TechCrunch.

In 2020, Justin was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 in Venture Capital list.

Previously, Justin was an investor at growth equity firm TCV, where he focused on growth investments in consumer-internet and software companies. He helped lead TCV’s investments in Peloton, Klook, TripAdvisor, and Sojern, and was actively involved with the firm’s portfolio, including companies such as Netflix, Rover, Varsity Tutors and Zillow. Prior to that, he was an investment banking analyst within the Global Technology Group at Credit Suisse. He also previously worked as an analyst at Steamboat Ventures.

Justin received his BS in business administration from the Marshall School of Business at USC, graduating cum laude.
