Zack joined Battery in 2013 as a vice president and was promoted to principal in 2017. He focuses on later-stage investments in industrial technologies. Zack is currently involved with Battery’s investments in James Heal; Process Sensing Technologies, a platform company created with Analytical Industries, Michell Instruments and Rotronic; Noise & Vibration Technologies, a platform company created with Data Physics, Lansmont Corp. and Team Corp; and Qognify, a company that Battery spun out from NICE Systems’ Physical Security Business Unit.
Prior to Battery, Zack was an associate at WestView Capital Partners, where he evaluated and executed middle-market buyout and recapitalization transactions across the tech-enabled services and software sectors. Zack began his career in the investment banking group at Avondale Partners.
Zack graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University with a BS in economics. He also holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
