Thomas Reslewic is an executive-in-residence who works with Battery’s industrial technology investment group. He recently served as group president for two business groups within Teledyne Technologies (TDY:NYSE): Teledyne Environmental and Electronic Instruments and Teledyne Defense Electronics. There, he managed a portfolio of companies which produce a broad range of scientific instruments, environmental monitoring equipment, test and measurement instruments, microwave-communication solutions and defense electronics.
Thomas joined Teledyne in 2012 when Teledyne Technologies acquired publicly-traded LeCroy Corporation (LCRY:Nasdaq), a New York-based leader in electronic-signal acquisition and analysis tools including digital oscilloscopes and serial data protocol analyzers. Under Teledyne, LeCroy has become the global market leader for protocol test tools for well-known serial data standards like Bluetooth, USB, HDMI and PCIexpress.
Before the acquisition of LeCroy, Thomas served as president, CEO, and director of LeCroy for more than a decade, during which time LeCroy achieved technology leadership in high-bandwidth, digital oscilloscopes and acquired two California-based, protocol-analyzer companies.
Prior to being appointed CEO in 2002, Thomas held various management positions at LeCroy involving sales, marketing, product development, and manufacturing operations. He joined LeCroy in 1990 following eight years of various sales and marketing management roles with Tektronix, an Oregon-based market leader in test-and-measurement tools.
A Massachusetts native, Mr. Reslewic holds a BA in physics from The College of the Holy Cross and an MBA from the University of Oregon in Eugene.
