Paz joined Battery in 2012 and focuses on ideas, companies, and entrepreneurs building disruptive technologies for the enterprise. Paz currently works with Datumate, Elastifile, LightCyber, Scodix, SiSense, and StratoScale. Previously, he was also involved with Cyvera (acquired by Palo Alto Networks).
Prior to Battery, Paz was an associate in corporate development at Cisco, where he was responsible for investments, acquisitions and strategy—focusing on the security, mobility, enterprise networking, cloud, and small business verticals. Earlier in his career, he spent several years in the technology investment banking practice at Lazard, working on a variety of mergers & acquisitions and financings, including advising Nortel Networks on its bankruptcy and divestitures.
Paz received a B.S. in finance and international business from New York University.
