Paul joined Battery in 2014 as a vice president and focuses on investments in enterprise infrastructure and software companies. He is currently involved in Battery’s investments in Catchpoint, Cohesity, Dataloop.io, JFrog, OpsGenie and StreamSets.
Prior to Battery, he was a senior associate at Tenaya Capital, a growth-stage venture capital firm that specializes in the enterprise infrastructure, SaaS and consumer-Internet sectors. He was previously an analyst for the private-equity division of Lehman Brothers, where he assisted with transactions involving companies such as Kayak and LifeSize.
Paul graduated summa cum laude from Duke University with a B.S. in economics and holds an MBA, with honors, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. While at Wharton, Paul was a member of Foundation Capital’s Young Entrepreneur Program and a portfolio consultant at First Round Capital, a seed-stage venture capital firm.
