Paul joined Battery in 2014 as a vice president and focuses on investments in enterprise infrastructure and software companies. He is currently involved in Battery’s investments in Cohesity, JFrog and StreamSets.
Prior to Battery, he was a senior associate at Tenaya Capital, a growth-stage venture capital firm that specializes in the enterprise infrastructure, SaaS and consumer-Internet sectors. He was previously an analyst for the private-equity division of Lehman Brothers, where he assisted with transactions involving companies such as Kayak and LifeSize.
Paul graduated summa cum laude from Duke University with a B.S. in economics and holds an MBA, with honors, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. While at Wharton, Paul was a member of Foundation Capital’s Young Entrepreneur Program and a portfolio consultant at First Round Capital, a seed-stage venture capital firm.
