Ben re-joined Battery in 2015 as a vice president, after previously working at the firm as an associate from 2011-2013. Currently he focuses on venture and growth investments in the software and Internet sectors. Ben is involved with Battery’s investments in BounceX, Entelo, Narvar, Optimizely, Tealium and Xenex. He was previously involved in Battery’s investments in Bonfire (merged into GTY Technology Holdings Inc) and Q2ebanking (NYSE: QTWO).
Prior to joining Battery, Ben was a senior equity research associate at Rutberg & Company, a boutique investment bank, where he provided institutional research coverage of private companies in the mobile and digital media sectors. Previously, Ben also held roles at LinkedIn (NYSE: LNKD) and the ASME Innovative Technology Institute.
Ben holds an AB in chemistry from Duke University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
