Aaron is a vice president focused on venture-capital and private-equity investments in the industrial-technology, information-technology and financial-technology sectors. He works on a variety of deal structures including venture, growth-equity, buyouts, rollup, PIPES and take-private deals, and is currently involved with Battery portfolio companies Affirm, Bionic, Cross River Bank, hibob, Kodiak Robotics, Lanes & Planes, N26, Next Insurance, NorthOne, Qognify, Quantum Machines, Sofar Sounds, Soldo, Taster, UBQ Materials, Xsight Labs and Zerto. Previously, he was also involved with Insert Mobile (acquired by Pendo) and Habana Labs (acquired by Intel). Based in Battery’s Israel office, he specifically focuses on investments in Israel and Europe.
Prior to Battery, Aaron was an analyst for Tandem Capital Asset Management, a portfolio-management company specializing in global equity and fixed-income portfolios. There, he performed in-depth financial analysis on the performance of the client’s portfolios and reviewed international markets for additional securities to optimize Tandem Capital’s model portfolio. Before that, Aaron was an MBA intern at Celsus Therapeutics, where he assisted the CEO with financial models, developed and maintained the company’s fund list, and reviewed and created corporate compliance policies. Earlier in his career, Aaron served as an operations manager at Zion Oil & Gas, Inc.
Aaron graduated cum laude from IDC Herzliya and received a MBA with a focus on finance and accounting, and entrepreneurship and strategy, from the Recanati School of Business at Tel-Aviv University.
