What does your company do in 10 words or less?
Disaster recovery, backup and cloud mobility converged into one “IT Resilience” platform
What is your favorite piece of management/leadership advice?
Think big, long-term and scale. Every time you make a short-term decision, scale and time will catch up quickly.
What’s the most under-rated trend in technology, in your opinion?
The legacy backup market is being completely disrupted. New technology, IT resilience and cloud are threatening a big tsunami in a large, stagnant industry.
What Zerto accomplishment in the last 12 months are you most proud of?
The last 12 months have been a transformational year as we have taken a large step forward toward becoming a long-term, sustainable company. We have changed our sales process, our forecasting, our public messaging, etc. For the company to transform so much and still hit all its goals is an impressive accomplishment that makes me very proud.
BONUS QUESTION: What is your favorite fiction book and why?
I would choose Shogun, the novel by James Clavell. It shows how the interaction of two completely different cultures can create an opportunity for both to learn from each other. As a CEO of a dual-headquartered company, between Israel and the US, this is always on everyone’s mind and we are stronger because of it.
