  • Found an incredible team building a unique product: SaaS technology to turn the explosion of user generated content and online ‘word of mouth’ activity into real revenue for companies.
  • Founders were seasoned entrepreneurs from Coremetrics, one of the pioneers in web analytics, and had a wealth of expertise in retail, analytics, word of mouth, and eCommerce.
  • Bazaarvoice was fast growing, and had many suitors wanting to invest. They were looking for a cash infusion and a knowledgeable partner who could help ramp up sales faster and scale delivery.

  • Won over the Bazaarvoice team based on connections, expertise, relevant SaaS experience (including Omniture), and a shared strategic vision for the business.
