General Partner Scott joined Battery in 1997 and currently leads investments in Israel, the US and Europe. His investments include Akamai Technologies (NASDAQ: AKAM), Anobit Technologies, @stake (acquired by Symantec), ITA Software, Kashya (acquired by EMC), The London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE; acquired by Euronext), MetroPCS (NYSE: PCS), ProfitLogic (acquired by Oracle), The Tennis Channel, and Ximian (acquired by Novell). In 2009, Scott relocated to Battery’s Israel office to build the team there and to lead the firm's expansion into Israel, the Middle East and Europe. Prior to joining Battery, Scott spent time in investment banking at First Albany Corp. and was previously the Director of Corporate Development at Future Vision, a venture-backed software company that was sold to Softkey International. He graduated with honors from Brandeis University with a BA in International Relations and Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies. |
