Vice President Eyal joined Battery in 2009 and focuses on private equity, venture and special situation investments across different stages, industries and geographies. Prior to Battery, Eyal was a New Business Development Manager at BrightSource Industries (LUZ II), a leading renewable energy company, where he worked closely with the chairman and the executive committee to examine and integrate new technologies and develop new strategic direction. Eyal also held positions with Old Lane, a multi- billion dollar global hedge fund (later acquired by Citigroup) and Castle Harlan, a leading $3.5B New York-based private equity firm. At Old Lane, he was involved in trading and complex options structuring, as well as financial and physical assets transactions. During his tenure at Castle Harlan, he participated actively in all phases of $245M 'Perkins' buyout, and worked closely with partners on several other transactions. He received an LLB in Law from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem where he attended a top percentile program for outstanding students, and an MBA from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. |
