Mike is a Vice President at Battery, but joined the firm in 2008 as a Senior Associate. Today Mike focuses on cleantech and enterprise IT—and particularly the intersection of the two. Mike is currently a Board Observer at Amalfi Semiconductor, Calxeda, Redwood Systems, SolarBridge Technologies, and Zenverge. He enjoys working with established companies, as well as helping entrepreneurs recruit teams and engage with the investor community.

Mike spent the bulk of his career prior to joining Battery in Sales, Business Development and Marketing roles at Altera and Xilinx, where he gained experience in defining and launching next generation communications products, and overseeing strategic business development programs at major communications OEMs. Most recently Mike worked for Altera where he was the account manager responsible for Cisco. Mike began his career as a hardware engineer at Velio Communications. He earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.
