• Joined Battery in 2005

Karen joined Battery in 2005 to direct the firm’s marketing, communications and media relations efforts. She spent her career in high tech marketing and PR before migrating to financial services, and at Battery, now brings those years of experience to bear to support the firm’s portfolio companies as well as Battery’s own efforts.  Karen’s marketing battle scars were gained from senior positions with some of the industry’s most respected communications agencies, including FitzGerald Communications, Meridian Technology Marketing, and Lois Paul & Partners (now all Omnicom agencies), as well as the Managing Director position at NYPR, a boutique New York City PR firm. Karen graduated from Tufts University with a degree in English and Developmental Psychology.
